The IPL 2025 has not been a good one for Rajasthan Royals and Sanju Samson. The champions of the first season have been eliminated from the playoffs race and Samson has missed quite a lot of games because of his injury. Samson hurt himself while batting against DC at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, and did not get to play any game until the suspension of IPL. However, he was recovering well and now the break of 8-10 days have accorded him more time to get fit for the last two matches.
Sanju Samson Returns To RR Camp
In a short video clip posted by RR, on their official X (formerly twitter), one can see Sanju Samson entering RR’s team hotel. His coming now proves that the wicketkeeper batter is now ready to captain the franchise once again. Rajasthan Royals first game is against Punjab Kings and they play on 18 May; their last game is against Chennai Super Kings. Therefore, Sanju Samson would be aiming to stamp his authority both as a leader and batter and take Rajasthan Royals’ campaign to a good note.
