RCB has played well throughout IPL 2025 and is now confirmed for the playoffs. RCB now need just one more win to ensure they end in the top two. With a victory over Lucknow Super Giants, they’ll be guaranteed a chance to play in the final. Just before the playoffs start, RCB won’t have Jacob Bethell or Lungi Ngidi because they’ll be unavailable. Jacob Bethell will be leaving the RCB squad due to calls for National duty.

Will Jacob Bethell Continue To Play?
The RCB has lost Jacob Bethell, their English batter, who has moved to the national team ahead of their upcoming series. Though he played only two games this year, he impressed a lot by scoring a great 55 against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). When regular opener Phil Salt could not play because of illness, Virat Kohli got his first game this season.
Since Salt returned and is playing well, it shouldn’t be a major issue that Bethell isn’t here. He has scored 239 runs in 9 games, keeping a high strike rate of 168.31, which makes him important to his side early in the order. Adil Rashid has done a great job in powerplay overs and will most probably open the batting.
