To set a big target for England in the second innings, Pant was batting with great care. When the English bowlers started testing his patience with tight lines and defensive fields, Pant expressed his frustration to his partner KL Rahul — a moment that was caught on the stump mic and is now going viral on social media. It was clear from Pant’s body language that in an attempt to play cautiously, he wasn’t able to play his natural shots. Eventually, unable to hold back, he shared his feelings with Rahul in a humorous tone.
