Sarfaraz Khan Gets Punched By Rohit Sharma On Back After Indian Batter Fails To Collect Ball (Watch Video)

Indian captain Rohit Sharma punched Indian batter Sarfaraz Khan during the India vs Prime Minister's XI pink-ball practice match.

The India national cricket team is playing against Prime Minister’s XI in the pink-ball practice match at the Manuka Oval in Canberra. The two-day match was reduced to 46 overs per side after the day 1 of the match was washed out due to rain. Team India skipper Rohit Sharma has joined the team after being absent from the first Test due to the birth of his first child. The right-handed Indian batter is a comical character and does one or the other thing on the ground which brings laugh to the fans. Such a video of a hilarious moment exchanged between him and Sarfaraz Khan.

Rohit Sharma Shares Hilarious Moment With Sarfaraz Khan

Sarfaraz Khan who is a conditionally a batter wore the glovers and tried his hands on wicketkeeping for sometime. In the 23rd over of the first innings, Harshit Rana bowled a short pitched delivery which was missed by batter Oliver Davies. Sarfaraz wasn’t able to collect the ball and fumbled after which it fell on the ground. While, the right handed Indian batter bent down to collect the ball, Indian captain Rohit Sharma who was standing at slips, punched him on his back after which both the players shared a smile.

Oliver Davies was dismissed on the very next ball and got cleaned up by a brilliant delivery from Harshit Rana. The right-handed Indian pacer ended up picking four wickets in the first innings which wrapped up the Prime Minister’s XI for 240 runs in the first innings. Sam Konstas slammed a brilliant century which helped the team put up a decent first innings score.
