After facing a 1-3 series blow from Australia, the Men in Blue are back and will try to shift their focus on limited over format with the white ball. India will host the English for a 5-match T20 series and a 3-match ODI series getting things kicking of from 22 December at Eden Gardens, Kolkata with the first T20 International. This would be a perfect opportunity for both the teams to serve this as a practice tournament with the White ball just before the Champions Trophy which is scheduled for February.

India will be under significant pressure to secure some wins, especially after having lost six of their last eight Test matches. With several players from that squad expected to feature in the upcoming Champions Trophy, a few victories in the white-ball format would help restore their confidence.
