Team India’s wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan is leaving an indelible mark in the County Championship these days. Representing Nottinghamshire, Ishan has left his mark in a mere two innings on English soil. The left-handed batsman played a scintillating inning of 87 runs against Yorkshire and then made 77 runs, teasing the Somerset bowling lineup. Besides swiping the show away with the bat, Ishan also tried his hand at bowling. Ishan was observed imitating the bowling style of MS Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh, and Shane Warne in one of his overs.

Ishan Kishan typically acts as a wicket-keeper. During his time with Nottinghamshire, he was observed to be keeping wickets. Abruptly, Ishan removed his gloves and attempted bowling. During one of his overs, Ishan attempted everything. Ishan attempted bowling off-spin and leg-spin. Ishan began his over by mimicking Harbhajan Singh’s style.
Along with this, he was also noticed imitating MS Dhoni’s action. At the end of the over, Ishaan was also noticed attempting to mimic Shane Warne’s bowling action. The County Championship shared the video of Ishaan’s artwork on their social media handle.
Return Of The Central Contract For Kishan
Ishan Kishan has come back to the central contract this time. Ishan last played for India in a Test match against West Indies in 2023. He has been constantly dropped from the team since then. But Ishan’s performance in IPL 2025 was okay. He scored 354 runs in 14 matches while representing Sunrisers Hyderabad. Ishan has been put in Grade C by the BCCI.
