India is ready to play England in a five-match Test series, which will be starting on June 20. Playing in England might present a big challenge for the Indian Team and with the retirements of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, it will be difficult for a youthful Indian side. Because India lost the Test series against Australia 3-1, they were not qualified for the WTC final. Besides having run out of players due to retirement, some might not join the tour in England because of various injuries, the way the squad is selected or their current results.
Here Is A List Of Young Players Who Might Be Droped From The Indian Squad
Harshit Rana
Harshit Rana could miss the Indian team’s tour of England because he only managed four wickets in the Test series in Australia, with an average of 50.75. Since England’s fast-outswing bowlers are dominant, India may go for Arshdeep Singh or Anshul Kamboj.

Devdutt Padikkal
Padikkal could miss out on the tour of England due to his hamstring issue and not doing well in Tests so far, as he has 90 runs in two matches at 30 apiece. Schwartzman will have a difficult time showing his true form if he doesn’t participate in the A-side.

Tanush Kotian
Tanush Kotian might still miss out on the tour to England, since Washington Sundar is currently positioned above him in the team. As Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav will be in the mix, the selectors might prefer using only two spin-bowling all-rounders in England.
