The PBKS owner Preity Zinat calls out sexism after outrageous AMA question about Glenn Maxwell during her Ask Me Anything' (AMA) session on her X (formerly twitter).

The PBKS owner Preity Zinat hosted an ‘Ask Me Anything’ (AMA) session on her X (formerly twitter), in the session, one of the followers asked if Glenn Maxwell was underperforming because the lady had not married the Australian all-rounder. Zinta took on the strongly worded refutation and detested the sexist and outrageous nature of the question. The successful actor also claimed that she deserved respect and that gender bias on the social media platforms should be stopped.

Preity Zinta’s Reply

“Would you ask this question to the male team owners of other teams, or is this kind of discrimination reserved only for women? I never realised how difficult it is for women to survive in corporate setups until I entered the world of cricket. I’m sure you asked this out of humour, but I hope you take a moment to actually read your question and reflect on what you’re implying-because if you truly understand it, it’s not pretty.”

“I believe I’ve earned my stripes by working very hard for the past 18 years, so please give me the respect I deserve and stop with the gender bias. Thank you,” she added.
