As per a few new reports by Apple Insider Mark Gruman, the new Se might get a new name in accordance with its new performance credentials and utilities.
Considering the fact that the apple hub is some time away from a launch the announcement that Tim Cook made has some what established that the new launch might be the iPhone Se.
Why Would Apple Drop The Old Branding ?
Its possible that Apple might drop the old branding for a new moniker for the budget affordable iphone Se. But Why? as per the reports Apple want the phone to seem more like a version of the iPhone 16 rather than a different budget phone.
This would allow the users and prospective buyers to associate with iPhone 16 rather than the Budget iPhone that has a standalone moniker.
Being powered by the same processor as that of the 16 series this phone would provide the users with the same performance as that of the flagship phones that are currently in the lineup.
Apple Intelligence The Big Update
Since the new Se would be running the latest chipset from the flagships along with 8 gb of ram the phone would be able to easily provide the users with the functionality of Apple Intelligence. Such functionality at a budget price point would definitely become antique selling point for the phone.
The low prices along with the power full performance of the new chip this could be a major hit from Apples Side this year. As per the recent predictions that phone might be priced around Rs 50,000 or above. This would allow the users to choose between certain Android flagship’s and other phones.
