Donald Trump’s business empire has now entered the telecom sector. Trump Mobile’s T1 smartphone was announced on Monday, which is completely made in the US and will also have customer service facilities in the US. This information was given by Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump at Trump Tower in New York, as reported by Reuters.
Donald Trump Jr. said, “We have worked with some of the best people in the industry to make sure that real American citizens get real value from their mobile service provider,” as quoted by Times of India. The launch came on the day Trump’s 2016 presidential election campaign completed 10 years. ‘Trump Mobile’ is presenting itself as an alternative to traditional network companies and is targeting conservative consumers by taking advantage of the popularity of the Trump brand. The service will be based on the mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) model, which will operate by renting networks from the three major telecom companies of America.
