Google, has finally reported that their new budget Pixel Phone with the new Tensor chipset is now readily available in the market. While the phone has been made available right now its final looks were revealed way before its launch on March 19. The Phone is now available for sale on Flipkart, Croma , Reliance Digital etc. Google had officially launched the phone way before, but its been made available for sale recently.
The 9a features the same design as that of the other Pixel 9 series devices, the stand out appeal of the phone lies in its flat edges that diminish into the aluminum frame. The back is laden with a polycarbonate frame which offers a fresh appeal unlike that of the previous google pixel phones that used to have a camera bump.
Screen
The Pixel 9a would have a 6.3 inch pOLED Acuta display with a 2424×1080 resolution and a refresh rate of around 120Hz. The new display is capable of 2700 nits of brightness while in HDR mode. The display also features a optical fingerprint sensor. The users would be able to choose between a 8Gb RAM and 128 Gb variant or a 256 Gb variant. Both the phones are powered by a Google Tensor G4 chip with the titan M2 security coprocessor.
Camera
The Phone also gets a reworked camera system the new phone gets a 48 MP F1.7 camera with Quad Pd Dual Pixel AF and OIS. The phone is capable of recording a video in 4k at up to 60 FPS. The ultrawide camera is however the same as before a 13 MP f2.2 unit. The front camera is the same as before a 13 MP that was seen on the previous models as well.
Battery
The Phone would now be available with a 5100 mAh li-Ion battery with a claimed 30+ hours of battery life. Beyond that the phone features a 45W adapter as well as aQi charging support. Equipped with Android 15 out of the box, users would be able to opt for the phone in Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris and Peony colorways. The phone is available for a price of Rs 49,999.
Pixel 9A Vs iPhone 16e
Before the launch of the 9a Apple had already brought in a mid range contender in the market. The 16E was aimed at users who sought the convenience of owning a Apple Product with a limited budget. The 16E has has the ability to provide the users with the same processor as that of the flagship 16 phones in the series with the iPhone 16E at a much lesser price. The Pixel 9a would directly go against the likes of similar phones but would its features be able to persuade a Apple users to leave behind the Apple Ecosystem?
