Koo Premium: Indigenous micro-blogging platform Koo has launched its premium service(Koo premium) to help content curators to earn through monetising it.
With Koo Premium, millions of content creators on the platform can share exclusive content with their subscribers and earn. For premium subscriptions, creators will have the option of paying a fixed weekly or monthly subscription fee. In return, they will be able to provide exclusive content to their subscribers and engage better with them. This facility would allow creators to share text, videos and photos with their paid subscribers by giving them premium labels.
This facility is currently available only in India and will provide earning opportunities to creators who create exclusive content. Artists, finance experts, and creators of fantasy gaming, wellness, comedy, music, sports and other categories will get an opportunity to earn by showcasing their talent. The Koo app started testing this feature last month with select creators and has now launched it for creators across the country.
According to the company, with the premium subscription feature, small and talented creators living in rural and urban areas of India will get a chance. “Koo App is one of the unifying social platforms and we pride ourselves on being fair to everyone who has played a role in making Koo what it is today,” said Aprameya Radhakrishna, CEO and Co-Founder of Koo App.
