In a recent bid to tease the world about the new launch of , Apple’s new product range Tim Cook has tweeted teasing about the possible launch of a new product this week . While there is a great suspicion that Tim Cook must have been talking about the possible launch of the next generation of the Macbook Air, other possibilities cannot be ignored as well. In a recent leak that had been reported by Mark Gruman he had revealed that the stock of previous gen Macbook air’s had been dwindling at the Apple stores. This has led to the suspicion that Apple might be planning to launch a new Macbook with the M4 chip. Beyond that Gruman also suggested that once Apple has launched the new Macbook air it would move onto launch the new iPad in the next few months.
Its still a mystery whether apple would be launching the new iPad or the Macbook or some other product. The latest generation of the Macbook air would be powered by the M4 chip, its said to offer many upgrades over the current gen model. These new changes would include Ray Tracing, enhancements to the neural engine and a few other changes.
New Changes
The current gen model has 24 gb of RAM but its possible that the new model might take it up to 32 GB. Beyond that its also possible that Apple might give the new Macbook two extra CPU cores, faster memory bandwidth and a advanced front facing camera.
Changes Suggested By Previous Leaks
As per a few previous leaks that were reported by Bloomberg’s Mark Gruman -The time frame of both the launches would be different. The iPad’s would be launched much later than the Macbook’s. As per the reports, the iPads would launch sometime in March or April.
The iPad Air as well as iPad 11 that would be possibly launched later would not go through any major design changes. The devices would receive hardware updates that would improve their performance. As per the reports the new iPad Air would be powered by the m3 chip or the m4 chip, while the iPad 11 is being rumored to be powered by the A16 Bionic chip or A17 pro chip.
No, prospects of the apparent launch of the new iPad Pro models have been shared, it’s possible that the pro models only come out once Apple launches its M5 Chip. This further indicates that the new launch Tim Cook has been teasing about could be a new MacBook air.
Mac Book Air Previous Leak
As per previous leaks that were reported by tom’s guide the MacBook would have the new M4 Chip. As per Mac Rumours a private account on X revealed that the MacBook Air 13 as well as MacBook Air 15 would sue a chip named “T8132” which is another term used to recognize the M4 chip.

The new Macbook has been under development for sometime and hence its apparent that the MacBook would keep the same design but would be powered by the new M4 chip.
