Nothing as a brand has always been about un-conventional choices and and thinking beyond the realm of conformity. In the most recent launch yesterday the brand has unveiled two of its new smartphone that users would soon be able to buy. While the 3a provides the users with a perfect balance of specs and affordability its the new Nothing 3a Pro that has caught our attention.
Nothing 3a Pro
The Phone has been launched with a 6.77 inch OLED panel protected by a Panda glass. The users would be able to reach 1300 nits of brightness and supports a120 Hz refresh rate. Users would be able to fetch a 8 + 128 gb variant in India for 29,999.
Nothing has emphasized a lot about the camera and about the innovation that has been instilled into the new phone.
The Persicope Camera
The new camera sensor that has been used by the brand has a 50Mp 1/1.56” sensor paired with that of a f/1.88 aperture and the lens further has a IOS as well. The module also includes a 50Mp, 1/1.95 F/2.55 periscope camera with 3x optical zoom. This camera can be extended up to 6x using the True lens 3.0 Engine. Beyond all of these sensors the module also includes a 8 Mp ultarwide camera.
As per nothing the periscope camera takes a lot of space to be instilled into the phone chassis. Hence the engineers at Nothing had to work around the new camera design to be able to accommodate it without making the phone to bulky. But as per the experts who have been able to try the phone the phone is bit bulky specially at the top end. Innovation is always the key to breakthrough, and if Nothing has been able to provide a periscope camera at a price range of Rs 29,999 its a complete steal. Similar camera module was recently added to Xiaomi 15 Ultra as well, and while the 15 ultra has not been launched in India yet , it would be unveiled on 11th of March- Its price in Uk as of now is around 1,299 euros.
And the camera is not the only stand out feature

The Phone has been equipped with a 5000 mAh battery along with a50w charger and as per Nothing the phone can get charged to a 50% in only about 19 minutes. Beyond that the phone has been powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor- which would offer you plenty of performance for the price point that the phone has been launched at. If camera is not a priority than opting for the Nothing 3a would be the right choice, But if camera is a priority and you seek a phone that can allow you to capture pictures like that of a flagship, at a reasonable budget the Nothing 3a Pro could be a profound choice.
