Oppo recently launched the much-anticipated Oppo A3 Pro 5G, a mid-range smartphone, in China. The Oppo A3 Pro 5G stands out as the first mainstream phone in recent times to achieve IP69, IP68, and IP66 certifications. Oppo claims that this smartphone is completely waterproof and can even survive hot water, soaking water, and strong water spray.
On both front and rear, the A3 Pro features Oppo’s Crystal Glass protection. In addition, it is the first mobile phone to get the Swiss 5-star SGS Gold Label 5-start drop resistance certification. Moreover, it has also passed an impact resistance test, meeting the national military standards in China. Therefore, the smartphone maker claims that the A3 Pro is drop and scratch-resistant. The Oppo A3 Pro features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 950 nits. To ensure added security, it gets an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The A3 Pro runs Android 14 based on ColorOS 14.
The mid-range smartphone features the Dimensity 7050 chipset and offers 8GB/12GB LPDDR4x RAM, 12GB virtual RAM, and 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The Oppo A3 Pro packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.
Additionally, the specification list of the smartphone includes Wi-Fi 6, 5G, dual SIM, GPS, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB-C port. As for colours, it is offered in shades like Mountain Blue (leather back), Azure (glass back), and Yunjin Pink (leather back).

Oppo A3 Pro Price & Availability
The Oppo A3 Pro was recently launched in China in three variants: 8GB+128GB, 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. The prices of these variants are 1,999 yuan (~$275), 2,199 yuan (~$300), and 2,499 yuan (~$345), respectively. It is not clear if it will be launched on the global market. The phone is now available for purchase in China via Oppo’s online store and JD.com.
