Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo would soon unveil a new smart phone that as per them would be the thinnest foldable smart phone in the market. The phone would also serve as a foundation for the upcoming new One Plus Open 2. Beyond other aspects Oppo has talked about how it would debut the phone globally at the same time as that of their launch in China.
This would be the first time that the company is launching a new phone globally at the same time.
Oppo Find N5 and One Plus Open 2
Both the phones would be identical and hence any buzz and marketing that might spread about one would definitely spill over the other. The new foldable would be incredibly thin and would measure around 4 mm when unfolded. Oppo has indulged in a new marketing tactic where they have showcased several times how their new phone is thinner than that of the Apple iPAD M4, which is much thinner than an iPhone.
Specification
Even after being so thin the phone would have a incredible spec sheet that includes a 5900 mah battery, and 50w fast wireless charging. For Oppo to bring wireless charging to such thin architecture would surely amuse tech nerds. The Phone would be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip, that would give the phone top notch speed and power.
New Camera
The phone would have a completely new camera setup also, it would have a few industry first features that no other flagships currently on sale or offer. These would include telephoto Macro Capabilities- Triple Camera 50 mp rear camera setup, while the front camera’s would likely be two 32mp and 20mp sensors.
Beyond that the phones would have a ipx9 and ipx9 waterproof rating, making these phones to be the first to be able to handle high pressure , high- temperature water Jets. This could be another phone that could flare up the competition for the upcoming phones. The Price of the new phone could be around Rs 1,59,990.
