A woman from Australia spent a lot of money trying to look like a cat. You did read correctly! The audacious choice was made by Gold Coast-based musician Jolene Dawson, 28, to change her appearance to more closely resemble a cat. For the procedure, she paid more than Rs 10 lakh.

Why she make this daring decision?
The woman disclosed that she underwent an experimental suspension thread operation in addition to injectables to achieve a cat-like appearance. Dawson confessed that she changed her appearance since she felt her Instagram needed an update.
Regarding the result, the woman said to Mirror Online, “I feel like myself again and I feel comfortable posting on Instagram, sometimes even without makeup.” To provide space for subdermal implants shaped like cat ears, I’ve started laser hair removal on the outside corners of my forehead.
She continued, “I chose a cat because I relate to them a lot.” Like me, they’re incredibly stylish, self-sufficient, and independent. My childhood pet was a Devon Rex, and she was stylish.

The competition increased when other influencers started dressing like Bratz dolls and imitating her. Feeling that her initial influence was gone, the woman decided to alter her appearance.
