Now, a stand-up comedian, Appurv Gupta, shared a post on X, disclosing the lessons he learned after failing the JEE twice. Gupta acknowledged that he didn’t secure admission into IIT or IIMs and instead enrolled in a private college in NCR without a clear direction for his future. However, he conceded that all the challenges he encountered molded him into a stronger and more resilient individual.

Important Learnings From JEE Attempt

“But through all the challenges, I learned some important lessons. It taught me: 1. The importance of perseverance even when facing setbacks. 2. Strategies for advancing when my initial plans failed. 3. How to glean insights from my mistakes and develop resilience. 4. That dedication and persistence yield results. 5. The significance of self-belief and tenacity,” he wrote on X.

‘These lessons have molded me into the person I am today – someone who doesn’t easily surrender and confronts challenges directly. Ultimately, it’s not about the starting point, but rather about how one decides to navigate the journey,” he concluded.

The JEE is an engineering entrance examination administered for admission to various engineering colleges in India. Candidates must initially qualify for JEE Mains to be eligible for the advanced level of the entrance exam (JEE Advanced). The exam is conducted twice a year in offline mode, with the first session taking place in January and the second in April.
