Another video of a brawl inside the Delhi Metro has gone viral on social media, which shows that a man can be seen getting into a verbal argument with women passengers for a seat. It was unclear whether the man was sitting on a ladies’ seat or not. He only stood up when his station was arriving.
The video shows him attempting to loudly announce something and get the attention of his fellow passengers. “Oh ladies, bhaiya ki insult ho rahi hai yahape,” he said. In a teasing manner, a woman echoed to say, “Ohoooo.”
Just a few seconds into the video, the man got up from his seat and went towards the exit door. Women on board immediately stopped him and jokingly told him that he should sit back down and not give up his seat to anyone.
In reply, the man said he left the metro seat because his station had arrived. When the ladies took a dig at him and asked him to continue sitting, he made melodramatic gestures and said, “Madam, mera station aagaya. Meri marzi. Meri marzi”.
“You have created a ruckus in the entire coach. Stay calm for at least a little while,” a woman told him in Hindi.

The internet expressed varying opinions about the man remaining seated. Some commented that he should have offered the seat to women, while there were those who felt that something was wrong with him passively being seated where women had to stand in the metro coach. “Kalesh in Metro over seat is not good to see, but it should not happen in the metro as women should have priority to sit first, then men, and no kalesh should be there as all are well-educated persons going in metros,” said a user.
