‘If Katrina Kaif Knows About Nuke Attack’: Pakistan Civil Services Aspirant Faces Bizarre Question In Mock Interview, Video Goes Viral

The controversial mock interview has raised questions about the standards of preparation and professionalism at coaching centers

A video of a mock civil service interview conducted at a coaching institute in Pakistan has gone viral, sparking outrage and criticism for the inappropriate nature of the questions asked. The video, shared by Lahore-based World Times Institute, shows an interviewer questioning a civil service aspirant on irrelevant and uncomfortable topics, including his favorite actors and body parts he admires.

Unusual and Inappropriate Questions

In the video, the interviewer begins by asking the candidate about his favorite actor, to which he responds, naming Pakistani actress Dur-e-Fishan Saleem. The questioning quickly turns uncomfortable when the interviewer insists that the candidate specify a body part of the actress that he admires, pressing for an answer below the neck. The aspirant, visibly hesitant, eventually says that he admires her hands.

The line of questioning takes another strange turn when the interviewer asks about the candidate’s favorite Indian actor, to which he replies Katrina Kaif. The interviewer then poses a hypothetical scenario where India is planning a nuclear attack on Pakistan, and Katrina Kaif holds crucial intelligence that could prevent it. The only way to obtain this information, according to the scenario, is to be in a “relationship” with the actress. The aspirant awkwardly responds that he would do whatever it takes for the country’s safety, leading the interviewer to question, “You will have a relationship with Katrina Kaif?”

Public Reactions

The video, originally posted on the institute’s social media accounts, quickly gained traction, drawing sharp criticism from viewers. Many expressed disbelief at the unprofessionalism of the questions, with one Instagram user commenting, “This interview is a joke.” Another user, Dr. Hassan Bilal Ahmed, urged the institute not to upload such videos, noting that the younger generation might not be able to absorb such inappropriate content intellectually.

Commenters voiced concern over whether such frivolous questions are reflective of the kind of preparation needed for serious roles in public service.
