4 slices of bread, 1 cup grated cheese, 2-3 green chilies, 1 tbsp butter, 1 tbsp mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste.
Toast the 4 slices of bread lightly in a toaster or on a pan until golden brown.
Take a bowl and mix the grated cheese, finely chopped green chilies, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Add mayonnaise for a creamy texture.
Evenly spread the cheese and chili mixture evenly over the toasted bread slices.
Apply a thin layer of butter on the other side of the bread for extra flavor and crispiness.
Heat a pan on medium-low heat. Place the bread slices and cover it with a lid to melt the cheese. Once the cheese is melted, take the toast off the pan, cut into halves and serve hot.
