Kesar Motichoor Laddoos: A Royal Treat For The One You Love

1 cup motichoor boondi (store-bought or homemade), 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup water, 1/4 tsp saffron strands (kesar), 2 tbsp ghee, 1/4 tsp cardamom powder.

Ingredients

In a pan, heat water and sugar to make a one-string syrup. Add saffron strands and stir well.

Prepare Sugar Syrup

In a separate pan, heat ghee and add the motichoor boondi. Fry for a minute to soften the boondi.

Heat Ghee

Pour the sugar syrup over the boondi, mixing gently until it’s absorbed.

Mix Syrup & Boondi

Stir in cardamom powder and let the mixture cool slightly.

Add Cardamom & Cool

Once cooled (enough to handle), shape the mixture into round laddoos and let them set. Enjoy your rich and aromatic Kesar Motichoor Laddoos!
