Dawood Ibrahim, India’s Most Wanted Terrorist, May Have Died After Poisoning In Karachi: Sources

Dawood was associated with criminal activities from an early age and was closely linked with Haji Mastan.

Reports suggesting the demise of fugitive terrorist Dawood Ibrahim have surfaced, indicating that he might have passed away in a Karachi hospital after a poisoning attempt, as disclosed by highly reliable sources to ABP Live. It’s alleged that Dawood was rushed to the hospital upon the detection of poisoning and likely succumbed to it between 8 PM and 9 PM.

Despite these reports, there’s been no official confirmation of his demise. Dawood Ibrahim, a prime figure behind the 1993 Mumbai blasts and one of India’s most wanted terrorists, has been purportedly residing in Pakistan for an extended period, although Pakistan has consistently denied providing him shelter.

Interestingly, Pakistan encountered a nationwide disruption in internet services, sparking rumors regarding Dawood’s condition. However, conflicting reports suggest the disruption was due to a political rally by PTI.

In a video, Pakistani journalist Arzoo Kazmi implied that the internet disruptions pointed to a potential cover-up of a significant event and mentioned Dawood’s critical condition in the hospital.

Dawood Ibrahim, the mastermind behind the ‘D Company’, orchestrated the 1993 Mumbai bombings that claimed over 250 lives and injured thousands. The National Investigating Agency (NIA) has linked the syndicate to various criminal activities like drug trafficking, money laundering, extortion, and arms smuggling. Both India and the United Nations have designated Dawood as a “global terrorist,” offering a bounty of $25 million for his capture.

Dawood’s journey from Mumbai’s Dongri slum to becoming a notorious figure in organized crime has inspired several films, depicting his rise to power and notoriety.

Born in 1955, Dawood was associated with criminal activities from an early age and was closely linked with Haji Mastan, a prominent figure in Mumbai’s underworld. Dawood’s ambition led to a rift with Mastan, resulting in violence and his eventual exile to Dubai. The 1993 Mumbai bombings, occurring a year after the Babri Masjid demolition in Ayodhya, propelled Dawood to the topmost wanted lists of the FBI and Interpol. He sought refuge in Pakistan following these events.
