Reason Behind The Ban

The decision has been taken to protect children from the risks/ harm associated with excessive crowding that occurs every year during Hajj season. Notably, Islam followers from around the world flock to Saudi Arabia for the annual Hajj Pilgrimage. “This measure is taken to ensure the safety and well-being of children and to avoid exposing them to any harm during the pilgrimage,” the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah stated.
