New Delhi: Adnan Oktar has been sentenced to 8,658 years in prison on multiple charges including sexual assault, rape of minors and fraud. This Islamic leader wearing modern clothes was often seen surrounded by women. He used to call women ‘kittens’. Adnan was known as a cult leader. He used to do TV programs with women. Adnan, who preaches conservative values, has also published books in many languages around the world under the name ‘Haroon Yahya’.
Forced slaves to undergo plastic surgery
He used to force sex slaves to undergo cosmetic surgeries without anesthesia. Not only this, the 66-year-old Islamic leader has also allegedly sexually abused many minors. After which he was put in jail. Earlier he was sentenced to 1075 years.
Following another trial his sentence was overturned on November 16. The new sentence will send him to jail for 8,658 years. The sentence awards him with a term which is 8 times more than the last term. During his hearing, he had confessed to a judge that he had over a thousand girlfriends.
Adnan Oktar runs an online channel
Adnan Oktar also ran an online Youtube channel A9 TV. He started broadcasting online in the year 2011. However, this which was strongly condemned by Turkish religious leaders. He used to do talk shows due to which he became very famous. He used to debate on Islamic issues. Her shows featured attractive models dressed in revealing dresses. The women associated with it were called ‘Kittens’. It is believed that at one time he kept about 160 slaves.
Made girls undergo plastic surgery
Senda Isildar, who fled to Canada from Oktar, told the Sunday Times how she was lured into the cult. Her nose surgery was done without giving anyanesthetics. She said, “It was terrible. I still remember the hammer. I was counting how many times they were hitting my nose with hammer and chisel.’ Isildar claimed that she was still at school when she was introduced to Oktar, and was forced to marry him.
69 thousand contraceptive pills recovered from Oktar’s home
Oktara used to sexually assault women. She told that he used to force her to take birth control pills. Police found 69,000 contraceptive pills from his home.
