A man living in US’s Minnesota, who wrote several posts against US President-elect Donald Trump. He shot dead four members of his family and later died by suicide.
According to New York Post’s report, this incident came to light on November 7 after the state authorities recovered the bodies of ex-partner of the man Erin Abramson (47) and their son Jacob Nephew (15) from an apartment.
Later two bodies got recovered from another apartment. It was the body of man’s wife Kathryn (45) and their son Oliver Nephew (7).
According to reports, the man was identified as 46-yearold Anthony Nephew, who was found dead inside the home from a self-inflicted gunshot.
The Associated Press quoted Duluth Police Chief Mike Ceynowa said that Nephew had a pattern of mental health issues.
Duluth Police Chief Mike Ceynowa said in a press conference that, “Anthony Nephew was married to Kathryn Nephew and was Oliver’s father. Previously he was in a relationship with Erin Abramson and Jacob was their son.”
According to Anthony Nephew’s post on social media, ““My mental health and the world can no longer peacefully coexist, and a lot of the reason is religion”.
Similarly in his another social media post he mentioned, ““I am terrified of religious zealots inflicting their misguided beliefs on me and my family. I have intrusive thoughts of being burned at the stake as a witch or crucified on a burning cross. Having people actually believe that I or my child are Satan or, the anti-Christ or whatever their favourite colour of boogie man they are afraid are this week”.
Anthony Nephew shared a post on his social media, which includes image of former president Barack Obama, Trump, Joe Biden and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. He mentioned the word hate under Trump’s face, while he used “hope”, “heal” and “grow” correspond with the democratic politician.
