Normal time = \(\frac{{{\rm{Rating\;factor}}\left( {\rm{\% }} \right)}}{{100}}\) × observed time

Standard time = normal time × \(\left( {1 + \frac{{{\rm{allowance}}\left( {\rm{\% }} \right)}}{{100}}} \right)\)

Calculation:

Normal time = 0.7 × (90/100)

∴ Normal time = 0.63 min

Standard time = 0.63 × (1 + 0.2)

∴ Standard time = 0.756 minutes
