The humerus, otherwise known as the upper arm bone, is nestled between the shoulder and the elbow joint. This bone holds the title for being the longest bone in the upper half of the human body. The humerus bone not only provides structural support to the arm, but it also plays an integral role in various arm and shoulder movements.
