The Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT) University, Ahmedabad (Gujarat) will start the application process for CEPT Application Process which will be notified on the official website. The CEPT Application Process for 2023 is expected to begin in the first week of May, 2023. The candidates must properly know the steps involved in the CEPT application process which are online registration, filling in details in the online form, uploading required documents, and paying the application fee. The application process for the CEPT will be through online mode.

Candidates should ensure they meet the CEPT exam eligibility criteria before filling out the examination form.
Candidates should ensure that they fill out the CEPT Registration Form should be filled within the given time to avoid discrepancies at the last moment.

CEPT Application Fee

The candidates applying for the CEPT application form will have to pay Rs. 1500 /- for the undergraduate courses and Rs. 3500/- for the first application and Rs. 1000/- for every subsequent postgraduate courses application.

How to Apply for CEPT?

Candidates can follow the steps below to fill out the CEPT Application Form.

Step 1: The candidate must visit the official website of the CEPT.

Step 2: On the homepage of the CEPT, the candidate will see the “Registration” option.

Step 3: The candidate will have to enter the mobile number, email ID, Date of birth, and basic details and create an account on the CEPT.

Step 4: The candidate will have to upload all the necessary scanned documents in the CEPT portal.

Step 5: The candidate will have to pay the required fees to successfully submit the CEPT Application form.

Step 6: Download and make a printout of the CEPT Application Form for further reference.

CEPT Eligibility Criteria 2022

The applicants must be aware of all the CEPT Eligibility criteria before applying. The details of the same are shared below:

Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses

Programme	Qualifying Exam
Bachelor of Interior Design	The candidate must have passed 10 + 2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects OR Passed 10+3 Diploma* examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject having obtained at least 50% marks in the aggregate and have obtained valid score in the NATA as prescribed by Council. OR Candidates who clear the qualifying examination from a school located outside India with minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed by AICTE/Council from time to time, and equivalency defined by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi shall be eligible for admission. OR The candidate must have passed all the subjects of the qualifying examination from a single Board.
Bachelor of Urban Design	The candidates must have passed 10 + 2 with any streams (Science, Commerce and Arts / Humanities) OR Diploma (10+3 pattern) of any stream.
Bachelor of Construction Technology	The candidates must have passed 10 + 2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies as an optional subject and candidate should have appeared in JEE (Main) of the corresponding year OR The students who have cleared the qualifying examination from a school located outside India with minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed by AICTE/Council from time to time, and equivalency defined by Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi shall be eligible for admission. OR The candidates must have passed all the subjects of the qualifying examination from a single Board.

Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses

Programme	Qualifying Exam
Master of Urban Management	The candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s degree from any stream
Master of Design	The candidates must have passed Graduation in Design or Architecture or Interior Design, Construction Technology or Diploma in Interior Design (12+4)
Master of Landscape Architecture	The candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture / Landscape Architecture / Urban Design and Interior Design disciplines with at least four full-time academic years in duration offered by a recognized University or Institution. OR The candidate who holds a postgraduate degree in any of the disciplines like Botany / Ecology / Horticulture / Geography / Agriculture / Forestry / Geology / Hydrology or similar natural sciences of a minimum of two years of full-time study with a prescribed bridge course The candidates must have passed 4 years Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Planning with a prescribed bridge course.
Master of Landscape Design	The candidates must have passed Master’s degree in any of the disciplines like Botany, Ecology, Horticulture, Geography, Agriculture, Forestry, Geology, Hydrology or similar natural sciences of a minimum of two years of full-time study with a prescribed bridge course The candidates must have passed 4 years Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Planning with a prescribed bridge course
Master of Technology in - Construction Engineering and Management	The candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering / Construction Technology / Environmental Engineering / Urban Design and Architecture Candidates must also clear XII Examination in the science stream with Mathematics and Physics as required subjects.
Master of Technology in - Structural Engineering Design	The candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology Candidates must clear XII Examination in the science stream with Mathematics and Physics as required subjects.
Master of Technology in Geomatics	The candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Geoinformatics Engineering / Computer Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering / Information Technology / Water Resources / Agriculture / Planning / Urban Design and Architecture OR Master’s degree in Basic Science / Earth Science / Geoinformatics / Climate Science / Environment Science / Information Technology / Disaster Management and Geography Candidates must clear XII Examination in the science stream with Mathematics and Physics as required subjects.
Master of Technology in Building Energy Performance	The candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Construction Technology / Architecture / Interior Design or Interior Architecture (five-year programs only) from a recognized university/institution. The students must have passed XII Examination in the science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Important Documents Required to Fill the Form CEPT

The following are essential documents to have on hand when registering and filling out the CEPT Application Form:

The candidate must upload the scanned photograph, signature, and education certificates within the prescribed size limit by the CEPT.
The candidates in the SC/ST/ OBC category are issued a caste certificate by the appropriate authority and should be uploaded within the prescribed size.
Candidates will need a debit card, credit card, or net banking information to pay their CEPT Application fees.

How to Make Corrections in CEPT Application Form 2022?

The candidate should follow the steps given below to make corrections in the CEPT Application Form:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CEPT.

Step 2: The candidates will have the “Correction Window” option on the homepage of CEPT.

Step 3: The candidates can login with the registered id and password and make corrections which will be notified by the board.

Step 4: Click on the Save button and save a copy of it for further reference.
