HSSC Shift Attendant 2023 recruitment exam will commence after the announcement of the exam dates. Once the result is announced, candidates can calculate their tentative scores using the officially released answer key.

Step 3: Add 0.975 mark for every correct answer in the exam.

HSSC Shift Attendant Merit List 2023 

The HSSC Shift Attendant 2023 Merit list of the candidates will be released soon after the commencement of the exam. It will be uploaded on the official website along with HSSC Shift Attendant Result and Scorecard. Those who secure more than the cut off marks shall be included in the merit list. Candidates shall be invited for the Personal Interview as per the merit list. Candidates who secure a place in the final merit list drawn post-interview will be considered successful in the exam and will be finally appointed for the HSSC Shift Attendant post.

For consideration of a candidate against a post of general category, such candidate has to secure minimum 50% marks (excluding socio-economic criteria weightage) in the skill and/or written examination to be considered for selection/recruitment. In case of consideration against the reserved category post (whether vertical or horizontal) the candidate shall receive a concession of 10% for the purpose of eligibility and for the purpose of skill and/or written examination, i.e. the minimum cut off for such candidates shall be 40% (excluding socio-economic criteria weightage) because they have been given 10% concession in minimum marks.

HSSC Shift Attendant Cut-Off 2023 

India Post will announce the HSSC Shift Attendant Cut-off marks 2023 after the results are published. With the cut off marks, the candidates can check if they are eligible for a selection. A lot of factors such as vacancies reported, levels in the selection process, and previous year's cut off marks plays an important role in deciding the cut off marks. Candidates who score marks more than or equal to the prescribed cut off marks are considered eligible for the post.

If the total marks of skill and/or written examination of a post are 100, then the maximum marks of skill and/or written examination will be 97.5 and 2.5 marks of Socio-economic criteria weightage. For consideration against a Group C post of General category, a candidate (including a candidate of reserved category who has not availed any kind of concession/relaxation of age, fee, qualification etc.) has to obtain minimum 48.75 marks (i.e. 50% of 97.5) of skill and/or written examination. However, for consideration against the same post of reserved category, a candidate of respective reserved category has to obtain a minimum 39 marks (i.e. 40% of 97.5). The socio-economic criteria weightage of maximum 2.5%, admissible if any, will be added in the marks of skill and/or written examination.

HSSC Shift Attendant 2023: Rules for Tie Cases

There might be cases of tie in HSSC Shift Attendant 2023 recruitment exam where two or more candidates possess the same aggregate marks. The aggregated marks include marks in written examination and marks in personal interview. The merit list of the HSSC Shift Attendant 2023 candidates shall be governed by the Tie-Breaker Rules stated in the official notice: -

1. In case there are more than one candidate having equal aggregate marks (written examination/skill test marks and Socio-Economic Criteria marks) the candidate with the older in age will get precedence over the younger one. 
2. In case two or more candidates have the same aggregate marks and same date of birth. The inter-se-merit shall be determined on the basis of higher score achieved in the written examination/skill test.
