The list of NEST Exam centres for the year 2025 has been released on the official portal. Candidates are advised to go through them. National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is conducted jointly by the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, and Mumbai University - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. The NEST Exam is conducted annually to offer admission for Integrated MSc programs in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.
- Candidates should check the NEST Exam Centre before the exam day so as to avoid any last-minute discrepancies.
- Candidates should carry their NEST admit card to the exam centre as without the same, entry is prohibited.

How to Select the NEST Exam centre?
Candidates had to select the NEST 2025 exam centre while filling up the NEST application form. Following are the steps to select the NEST exam centre 2025.
Step 1: Fill NEST 2025 application form, which will be available on the official portal.
Step 2: In the section of the test centre, select five cities in order of preference.
Step 3: The final NEST 2025 exam centre will be allotted by the exam authorities, which is announced in the NEST 2025 admit card.
Step 4: Once allotted, a request to change the NEST 2025 exam centre will not be entertained.

How to Reach the NEST Exam Centres?
Candidates can travel between the same state cities easily. All the exam centres have well-connected road services. Candidates can reach the exam centre in a cab or car. It might be a bit difficult to park a car near the exam centre, so a cab should be preferred. Candidates can also use train or bus services to reach the exam centre if they have to travel to a different city.
What to Carry to the NEST Exam Centre?
All candidates must bring the necessary documents to the exam centre. Candidates must bring a valid ID for identity verification. The accepted identification documents are mentioned below:
- A copy of the NEST Admit Card 2025.
- One of the Government-issued ID Proofs (Passport/Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Driving Licence/Voter’s Card/Bank Pass Book with a valid photo).
- Writing material like blue/black ballpoint pen, eraser, pencil, etc.

NEST Exam Centre: Important Instructions
The following Important Instructions must be adhered to by the candidate at the exam location:
- After taking the printout of the NEST Exam Admit Card from the official website, every candidate must verify all the details mentioned on his/her Admit Card.
- Candidates are required to carry Carry a valid photo Id proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driver's License along with the admit card on the exam day.
- Candidates without the NEST Admit Card will not be allowed to enter the examination centre.
- Candidates should keep the admit card safe until the overall admission process is completed.
- Any use of unfair means will lead to disqualification from the admission process.
- In case of any incorrect information provided by the candidates or process violation, the candidate will get disqualified from the selection process.
- In order to be on time and avoid any stress, candidates are urged to be at the testing location 15 to 30 minutes before the reporting time.
- Follow all COVID-19 regulations, including wearing a mask, carrying hand sanitizer, having your temperature taken at the entrance gate, keeping a safe distance from others, and avoiding crowds.
- No Candidate shall bring or keep with him/her during the Examination any mobile phone, I-pad, palmtop, pager, books, study materials, printed or handwritten material, pieces of paper, digital diary, watch alarms, Bluetooth, health band, smartwatch, scientific and programmable calculators, listening devices, recording or photographic devices, or any other communication device/gadget.
