SBI CBO 2025 Salary
The SBI CBO Salary for the finally appointed candidates includes a basic salary of Rs. 48480 with a pay scale of Rs. 48,480–2000/7–62,480–2340/2–67,160–2680/7–85,920. Additionally, candidates with at least 2 years of officer-level experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank are eligible for two advance increments. Along with the basic pay, the employee will receive various benefits like Dearness Allowance (D.A), House Rent Allowance (H.R.A) or Lease Rental, City Compensatory Allowance (C.C.A), Provident Fund, and coverage under the National Pension System (NPS). Other perks include Leave Fare Concession (LFC), medical benefits, and allowances as per the rules in force.
SBI CBO Career Path
After selection, candidates will join as Circle Based Officers (CBOs) and undergo a 6-month probation period, during which they will face continuous performance assessments. Those who meet the required standards will be confirmed in the Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I). Upon confirmation, they will become part of the Bank’s general cadre and follow the same promotion policy as other general cadre officers. However, they will not be eligible for inter-circle transfers, Corporate Centre postings, or foreign assignments until they complete 12 years of service or are promoted to SMGS-IV, whichever comes first.
