Skill Test

The Skill Test for Senior Personal Assistant and Personal Assistant includes a Typing Speed Test (minimum speed of 40 WPM) and a Shorthand Test. For the shorthand test, candidates must transcribe dictated content at speeds of 100-110 WPM with a maximum of 5% permissible mistakes. Scoring is based on accuracy, with higher accuracy resulting in better scores. Candidates must meet the minimum qualifying marks to proceed further.

Written Test

The Written Test is a multiple-choice objective test consisting of 100 questions divided into General English (50 questions), General Aptitude (25 questions), and General Knowledge (25 questions). An additional Computer Knowledge Test is conducted separately. Candidates must secure at least 50% marks, with a slight relaxation for reserved categories, to qualify for the interview.

Interview

The final stage is the Interview, which assesses the candidate's communication skills, subject knowledge, and suitability for the role. The interview carries a maximum of 30 marks, and candidates must achieve at least 15 marks (13.5 marks for reserved categories) to qualify. Successful candidates will be placed in a merit-based panel for final appointment.
