Candidates must check the TNPSC Field Surveyor Exam Pattern and Selection Process before the preparation for the written exam. The candidates will be selected for the post based on the total marks obtained in the written exam followed by a document verification round. • The exam will be held for a total of 600 marks.
• Only marks obtained by candidates in the Paper-I and Part-B of Paper-II of the exam will be considered for the ranking.
• The questions that will be asked in Paper-I and Part–B of Paper II will be available both in Tamil and English.
• Part A of Paper II will be only in the Tamil language.
• The minimum qualifying marks for the candidates belonging to reserved categories like SCs, SC(A)s, STs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs, MBC/DCs, and Destitute Widows will be 135.
• The minimum qualifying marks for the candidates belonging to other categories will be 180 marks.
