TNPSC Group 3 Recruitment 2024: Response Sheet (Out), Final Result!

TNPSC Group 3 Response Sheet has been released under (Notification No. 26/2022, 26A/2022 and 26B/2022). Earlier, the final result has been released. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission conducts the TNPSC Group 3 Recruitment examinations to screen eligible candidates as officers of the state or subordinate positions that come under its purview. The government of Tamil Nadu consults and seeks the assistance of the state's public service commission on issues pertaining to the recruitment and appointment of civil servants to various posts and related matters.  

• Aspiring candidates were encouraged to apply online for the TNPSC Group 3 exam through the TNPSC online portal when the exam dates are announced. 
• The number of vacancies that were released for the post of Junior Inspector and Store Keeper is 15 in total.
• Candidates who qualify for the TNPSC Group 3 written exam will be called for document verification. After the CV, the selected candidates will be called for counseling.

How to Apply Online for TNPSC Group 3 Recruitment?

Candidates who would like to apply to the TNPSC Group 3 can apply online by logging on to the official website of the TNPSC, after making sure that they meet the eligibility criteria. After verifying their eligibility for the TNPSC Group 3 and Group 3A posts, candidates can fill up the application form on the online portal on the official site. The following are the steps that need to be followed by the candidates while applying online:

Step 1: Visit the official website of TNPSC. 

Step 2: Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process if you haven't already.

Step 3: Click on "Apply Online" and fill in the application form with the necessary details. Ensure that the application form does not have any spelling mistakes; else, your application will be rejected.

Step 4: Proceed to the payment gateway after filling the details on the form 

Step 5: Pay the registration fee (which will depend on the number of posts applied) through any of the available modes.

Step 6: Now scan and upload a copy of your photograph in passport size and signature.

Step 7: Click on "Submit" to submit the application form.

Step 8: Print out your application form. 

Step 9: Note the ID number of your application form for future reference.

TNPSC Group 3 Recruitment Application Fee

Candidates applying for the TNPSC Group 3 to various posts had to pay a fee of Rs.150 towards the one-time registration process if they haven't already (those who have already completed OTR need not pay this fee). They also had to pay another Rs.150 towards the examination fee as per the last recruitment notification, in case any changes are seen in the latest notification, it will be updated accordingly.

However, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disability (not less than 40 percent), and Destitute Widow categories were fully exempt from any fee for any number of attempts as per the last recruitment notification.

TNPSC Group 3 Selection Process

The selection process for TNPSC Group 3A includes the written exam. Those who qualified will be called to appear for the certificate verification round. Candidates who qualified all stages may be appointed to the post if their name appears in the final merit list.

• Date of Birth Proof (Tenth Marksheet only)
• Community Certificate from the competent authority

Age Limit

The age limitations for various posts (as of 1st July, 2022) and categories are as follows.

• Candidates not belonging to SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/DC, and BC who have five years of experience in the state or central governments were not eligible for age concession.
• No maximum age limit means the candidate can be up to age 58 years old.

TNPSC Group 3 Recruitment Exam Pattern

The official notification for TNPSC Group 3 will be released. For the written examination, the exam was 300 marks and three hours duration. The exam pattern is as follows:

TNPSC Group III Cut Off

The cut-off for Group 3 TNPSC is yet to be released on the official website. Various posts come under TNPSC Group III. The criteria of selection for different posts also vary among these posts. The written exam was an objective-type exam where total marks were 300, and the minimum qualifying marks were 90. The personal interview had a weightage of 40 marks. The final selection of the candidates depends on the total marks secured in both the written and the interview as per last recruitment pattern.
