Candidates have been provisionally admitted to Physical Certificate Verification which will be held on 25.04.2024. A total of 35 vacancies have been released for various interview and non interview posts such as College Librarian, Librarian & Information Officer, District Library Officer, Library Assistant and Library & Information Assistant Grade II. - Candidates who meet the requirements had applied online from 31st January 2023 to 1st March 2023.
- Knowledge of the Tamil language is mandatory. The candidates shall be selected on the basis of an Objective Type exam and an Interview. However, there are some non interview posts as well.

TNPSC Combined Library Services Age Concession for Differently Abled Candidates
(i) For Persons with Benchmark Disability:
Persons with Benchmark Disability are eligible for age concession upto 10 years over and above the maximum age limit prescribed (Restricted to 60 years of age).
(ii) For Ex-servicemen (others):
- The maximum age limit for Ex-servicemen to the posts of Library Assistant in the Secretariat Library, Librarian and Information Assistant, Grade – II, Librarian and Information Officer in Anna Centenary Library and District Library Officer is 50 years.
- The above mentioned age concession will not apply to the Ex-servicemen applicants who have already been recruited to any class or service or category.
TNPSC Combined Library Services Education Qualification
Here, we have listed the minimum educational qualification for the TNPSC Combined Library Services recruitment 2023.
Applicants must have the following qualification, or its equivalent, awarded by a university or institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or the State Board, as the case may be.
