The Bank of Baroda LBO 2025 selection process involves multiple stages to assess candidates' suitability for the Local Bank Officer post. Below are some details for each stage of the recruitment.
The first stage is an online test with four sections i.e English, Banking Knowledge, General Awareness, and Reasoning & Quant. Each section has 30 questions and carries 30 marks with sectional time limits. The total exam duration is 120 minutes. Candidates must score a minimum of 40% (General/EWS) or 35% (Reserved) to qualify. A penalty of 0.25 marks applies for each incorrect answer.
Shortlisted candidates from the online test will appear for a psychometric test. This test checks alignment with Bank of Baroda's core values and assesses sales aptitude. Performance in this stage is crucial for further shortlisting. It may include personality-based or role-based assessments. Final selection also considers how well candidates align with the bank’s culture.
Candidates must show reading, writing, and speaking skills in the local language of the state they apply for. Those who studied the local language in 10th or 12th are exempted from this test. The LPT is mandatory, failure to qualify results in disqualification. This stage ensures effective communication with local customers. Only qualified candidates move to the interview stage.
Candidates clearing earlier rounds may be invited for a Group Discussion based on merit. GD evaluates communication, teamwork, sales approach, and leadership qualities. Candidates must score at least 60% (General) or 55% (Reserved) to qualify. The discussion revolves around current banking or general topics. This stage helps assess interpersonal and thinking skills in group settings.
In the final round, candidates attend a Personal Interview to assess overall personality, clarity of thought, and job suitability. The bank may combine this with GD scores or evaluate PI independently. Minimum qualifying marks are 60% for General and 55% for Reserved categories. The final merit list is based on combined scores from all applicable stages. Candidates must present original documents for verification.
The Bank of Baroda LBO 2025 online exam is designed to assess candidates across four major sections. Each section has equal weightage, and all tests (except English) are bilingual. Candidates must complete the entire test within a fixed time limit.
