What is the exam duration for BHEL Supervisor Trainee role?
The duration of the exam is 120 minutes (2 hours). The exam will contain 150 objective type multiple choice questions.
What is the exam pattern and marking scheme?
The exam will consist of 150 objective type questions with 4 options each. 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
What is the distribution of questions across subjects?
Out of 150 questions, 100 questions will be from the relevant discipline, 20 from reasoning, 10 from general knowledge, 20 from general English.
Are questions in Hindi and English both?
Yes, the questions and options will be bilingual i.e. in both Hindi and English. However, the English version will be treated as authentic in case of any discrepancy.
What items are prohibited during the exam?
Use of calculators, slide rules, smart devices like phones and smartwatches and any study/reference material is strictly prohibited. It can lead to disqualification.
What is the difficulty level of the questions?
The questions will have a mix of very difficult (20%), difficult (60-70%), and easy (10-20%) level questions.
What is the syllabus for the relevant discipline section?
