MPSC Public Administration Exam Pattern 2023

The candidates appearing for the MPSC exam must be well aware of the exam pattern before beginning their preparations. The MPSC Exam Pattern is given in detail below:

Preliminary Examination

  • The MPSC preliminary examination will have two papers i.e., Paper I (Compulsory) and Paper II (Qualifying) carrying a weightage of 200 marks respectively.
  • This MPSC exam will be conducted for 2 hours.
  • There is no negative marking in the MPSC examination.

Mains Examination

  • The mains exam will be held for a total of 1750 marks.
  •  The MPSC main examination includes 9 papers.
  • The MPSC main examination includes 9 papers which are 1 paper each of Marathi, English, and Essay and 4 papers of General Studies, and 2 optional papers chosen by the candidates.
  • The MPSC exam will be attempted in English only.
  • Nature of the Question Paper will be Conventional/Descriptive.
