Given:

Total distance = 387 km

Total time = 21 hours

Formula used:

Remaining distance = Total − Covered

Remaining time = Total time − Time used

Speed = Distance ÷ Time

Calculation:

Distance covered = 2/3 of 387 = 258 km

Time used = 5/7 of 21 = 15 hours

⇒ Remaining distance = 387 − 258 = 129 km

⇒ Remaining time = 21 − 15 = 6 hours

⇒ Required speed = 129 ÷ 6 = 21.5 km/h

∴ Required speed = 21.5 km/h
