Simple Interest (SI) = ₹520

Time (t) = 8 years

Formula used:

SI = (P × r × t) / 100

Where, r = rate

Calculation:

520 = (1300 × r × 8) / 100

⇒ 520 = 104r

⇒ r = 520 / 104

⇒ r = 5
