साधारण ब्याज, SI = (P × R × T)/100
राशि = P + SI
जहाँ,
P = मूलधन
R = वार्षिक ब्याज दर
T = समय वर्ष में
गणना:
मान लीजिए ब्याज दर R% वार्षिक है।
भुगतान किया गया कुल ब्याज = 11 - 10 = 1 रुपये
चूँकि किस्तें मासिक रूप से चुकाई जा रही हैं, इसलिए पहली, दूसरी, ...., और दूसरी-अंतिम ईएमआई (EMI) पर क्रमशः अगले 10, 9, ...., और 1 महीने के लिए ब्याज लगेगा। चूँकि अंतिम EMI चुकौती पूरी करती है, इसलिए इस पर कोई ब्याज नहीं लगेगा।
