Concept

The torque produced by the motor is given by:

T = W × r × g

where, W = Load on pulley

r = Radius of pulley

g = acceleration due to gravity = 9.81 m/s

The mechanical power in watts is given by:

P = 2π × N × T

where, N is in revolutions per second and T is in Nm
