L.C.M. of the least common multiple of the two or more numbers
Calculation:
Let the total number of times the bell will commence
The LCM of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 = 120 seconds = \({120\over 60}\ =\ 2\ minutes \)
They will commence tolling = 1 + \({30\over 2}\) = 1 + 15 = 16
∴ The required result will be 16.
