Concept:

The torque is given by the relation

T = Iα  

where 'I' is the moment of inertia and 'α' is the angular acceleration in rad\s2.

Also, I = mk2 

where 'm' is the mass and 'k' is the radius of gyration.

∴ T = mk2α

T = mk2α
