Marked price of laptop (MP) = ₹15,000

Cost price (CP) = MP ÷ 1.15

Discount on MP = 10%

Selling price (SP) = MP - 10% of MP

Formula used:

Profit % = ((SP - CP) ÷ CP) × 100

Calculation:

CP = 15000 ÷ 1.15 = ₹13,043.48

SP = 15000 - 1500 = ₹13,500

⇒ Profit % = ((13500 - 13043.48) ÷ 13043.48) × 100

⇒ Profit % ≈ 3.5%
