Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is an armed force that is responsible for the protection of important industries and complexes which are at risk of internal and international threats. This includes refineries, Airports, and all Central Industrial complexes that are guarded by the CISF.

CISF Group Salary and Job Profile for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector(ASI)
Job Profile: The Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF is often dubbed as the “backbone” of CISF. They serve as the main mediator who works between those operating on the field and the Control Room. Some of the major responsibilities that they take in their stride include:
- Airport Security
- Industrial Security
- They have the power to carry out search operations.
- They can search and seize any custody, they have the power of preventive custody.
- They also have to do clerical work in the office.

CISF Group Salary and Job Profile for the post of Head Constable
- Job Profile: Head Constable is in charge of general duty at the CISF posts. He also takes charge of the beat areas in the rural and town areas. He closely works with the constables and gives them the duties to be performed. While working in the Ministerial departments, he is responsible for drafting communication for on-field units of CISF. Most of the work, if in the ministry, is largely clerical work.

Job Profile: The post of Tradesman is for Electricians, Cook, Carpenter, Gardener, Sweeper, Painter, Mason, Plumber, and Cobbler. These posts are temporary and specifically skill-based.

Cook
- Cook is responsible for the Effective Cooking of chapati and rice.
- Cooking vegetables/Dal/Sambar etc;
- Effective Cooking of Meat/Fish/Egg/Kheer.
Cobbler
- Cobbler is responsible for Polishing of Shoes
- Cutting of leather and repairing and stitching of shoes.
- Effective handling of tools required of cobbler.
Barber
- Barbar is responsible for Haircutting
- Shaving
- Handling of tools required for barber
Washerman
- Washerman is responsible for washing of clothes
- Ironing of Khaki, Cotton uniform.
- Ironing of woolen, Terry cotton uniform.
Carpenter
- Carpenter is responsible for the cutting of wood.
- Effective handling of tools required for the carpenter.
- Fitting, polishing, and fishing of materials need to be done by a carpenter.
Sweeper
- The sweeper is responsible for sweeping.
- Cleaning of toilets.
- Cleaning of Bathrooms etc;
Mason
- Mason is responsible for the preparation of Mashala
- Mason/Construction work
- Manson needs to do the Plastering work
- Laying down floor tiles and plastering tiles needs to be done by the mason.
Painter
- The painter should use colors, paints, and shades for effective Painting/Drawing
- The painter is responsible for painting the signboards.
Plumber
- The plumber is responsible for playing pipelines.
- The plumber needs to repair the water pipelines.
- The plumber is responsible for the fitting of taps, geysers, flushes, and washbasins.
Mali
- The mali has the responsibility of maintaining the plants.
- The mail is responsible for Plantation and making crafts.
- The mali should have knowledge of seeds and their sowing season.
- Knowledge of indigenous manures which is used for the effective plantation.
Electrician
- The electrician is responsible for fitting the electric lines.
- The electrician is responsible for the recertification of electric faults.
- Electricians should have knowledge of AC(Alternating Current) and DC(Direct Current).

Pay Scale: Basic Pay: Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100

- Job Profile: This is a temporary post and is subject to vacancies being released by the authority. It includes driving defence vehicles, jeeps, and others.
