Concept

The magnitude of the induced EMF in a coil is given by:

\(E=N{dϕ\over dt}\)

\(E=N\times ({ϕ_2-ϕ_1\over t_2-t_1})\)

where, N = No. of turns

ϕ = Flux in Weber

t = Time in sec

Calculation

Given, N = 100

\(E=100\times ({1-0.4\over 0.2-0})\times 10^{-3}\)

E = 0.3 volt
