Given:

Length of cuboid = 10 cm

Width of cuboid = 5 cm

Height of cuboid = 8 cm

Side length of cube = 5 cm

Formula Used:

Volume of cuboid = Length × Width × Height

Volume of cube = Side3

Remaining volume = Volume of cuboid - Volume of cube

Calculation:

Volume of cuboid = 10 × 5 × 8 = 400 cm3

Volume of cube = 53 = 125 cm3

Remaining volume = 400 - 125

⇒ Remaining volume = 275 cm3

The remaining volume of the cuboid is 275 cm3.
