Calculation:
In ΔABC and ΔEDC,
∠ABC = ∠EDC (each 90°)
∠ACB = ∠ECD (Common angle)
∴ ΔABC ∼ ΔEDC (By AA rule).
⇒ AB/ED = BC/DC
⇒ 52.5/28 = BC/19.2
⇒ BC = 52.5 × 19.2/28
⇒ BC = 36 m.
∴ The length of the shadow cast by another pole of 52.5 m height is 36 m.
